The opinions of the Committee of the Regions are drafted through six commissions. Renew Europe Secretariat assists the members to participate in those commission meetings and carries out preparatory work ahead of each meeting.

The secretariat also supports the President in chairing Group meetings and in preparing Group positions for the CoR Conference of Presidents and Bureau.

The Secretariat also liaises and coordinates with the Renew Europe Group in the European Parliament and with the ALDE Party as well as with other liberal stakeholders such as the European Liberal Forum (ELF), the ALDE Group in the Council of Europe, and Freidrich Naumann Foundation (FNF).
