Registrations are now open for EU Regions Week 2025

Taking place in Brussels from October 13-15, 2025 the European Week of Regions and Cities co-organised by the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the European Commission is an essential event for policymakers, experts, and subnational representatives to network, exchange ideas and shape the future of cohesion policy.

The EU Regions Week is a vital forum for policymakers, experts and subnational politicians, with over 200 events scheduled around Brussels over an entire week, including the annual State of the Regions report presented by CoR President Kata Tüttő. It’s a prime opportunity for members of the liberal and democrat political family to share their initiatives, network with others in the field, and contribute to a more united and prosperous Europe.

This year’s edition takes place following the inauguration of the new CoR mandate, and its program aligns perfectly with our 2025 – 2030 political priorities, focusing on three themes that are crucial for building a better future for our cities and regions:

  • Cohesion and Growth for the Future: How can we leverage cohesion policy to drive sustainable growth and innovation, creating economic opportunities for all?
  • The Right to Stay: How can we empower local communities and ensure that every region in the EU can thrive?
  • Cities Building Tomorrow: What is the role of cities as hubs of innovation, sustainability, and social inclusion?

All CoR members are invited to participate in the event alongside the CoR plenary session. If you are part of the EU councillors programme or a Young Elected Politician (YEP) you might be eligible for reimbursement of your participation.
